Firefox bye-bye
20170207 十三年來從來沒想過有一天會道別 Firefox。但不知道 Firefox 何時才會改善 RAM 使用量及 CPU 效能，然後現在又公告 57 的時候全面停用 XUL addon，不少 addon 可能都會死掉，但開發者仍然不以為意，所以我今晚就想：除了肥大的 Chrome 及緩慢且一樣肥大的 Firefox、了無新意的 Safari 外，沒有其他好用的瀏覽器了嗎？
結果目前找到 Vivaldi。
20170210 今天想去回應那位答覆我說停用 XUL 合情合理的開發者1)，說我已決定用鍵盤投票改用 Vivaldi，所以就算他們把 XUL 殺了，我也不再想用 Firefox 了。不過後來算了，再回也無法否認他說的一些點。只是我注重的是別的。
20170215 今天想給 Firefox 一個最後的機會，所以回來把 Firefox 所有的視窗和分頁都關了（當然有先儲存 session），然後測試一下 RAM 及 CPU 效能狀況。有感覺順很多啦，RAM 的用量也變少了。
然後，又在 about:config 中強迫打開 browser.tabs.remote.force-enable 為 true，也就是強迫打開 e10s 多程序。結果發現 Multifox 告知不支援多程序了，以後也不會再更新（因為拋棄 XUL 的關係）。看來又有一個 addon 是可以拿來跟 Mozilla 開發者抱怨的了。☞

稍後發現 Make Link 也因 e10s 失效 ∴我先把 e10s 關了。沒有 Make Link 的話，根本很難用。
想收集一些嗆 Mozilla 的證據，證明不是大家都喜歡 Webextensions：

Hi Matt,I appreciate that you took time to provide all these explanations, and indeed I have to agree with most of them. That said, what I may have a different opinion is with the last paragraph.In short, I think the possibility of customizing the UI in great scale with XUL addon, is missing in other major competitors of Fx. Yeah XUL addons may be the reason why Firefox is so slow and huge on my laptop (I’m not sure because I’m not deep in web design and browser tech), but abandoning XUL framework and losing the possibilities of using those great addons like Beyond Australis, is also actually making me start to find other alternative browsers. Actually I’m writing this in Vivaldi right now, and I have decided to say goodbye to Firefox — temporarily if after Firefox 57 there are indeed some powerful new addons replacing all those discontinued addons with support of your implemented APIs and a faster indeed Firefox — or forever if some abilities and possibilities are forever lost in Firefox and making Firefox no different with other browsers.People might say go ahead, but just like you said…
